Gymboree is reportedly shutting down most of its stores — shop your favorite items before they're gone forever
Gymboree, the San Francisco-based children’s clothing company that has been making babies’ onesies since 1986, will reportedly shutter the majority of its 900 stores and file for bankruptcy this week. This would mark the second time the Gymboree Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in less than two years. Gymboree’s in-house labels, such as Crazy 8 and trend-focused Janie & Jack, are reportedly part of the sale as well.
If you are saddened by this news, there is a silver lining. At the moment, Gymboree is cutting prices in stores and online with a special 40-percent-off sale on all full-price items, and shoppers can take an extra 30 percent off all sale items.
Before Gymboree stores potentially close for good, take advantage of this sale to stock up on all of your children’s favorites, as well as plenty of winter essentials like sweaters, jackets and onesies.
