Who's that model? It's Hannah Bahng! The Australian singer-songwriter and YouTuber just helped drop one of the cutest collabs in fashion.
The streetwear brand Vandy the Pink just dropped its new line with the fan-favorite series Pokémon, and Hannah Bahng was tapped to model the new collection. Available from November 19, the collab includes two pairs of baggy jeans adorned with the silhouettes of different original Pokémon characters across the back. One features black-and-white sticker-like add-ons while the other uses various colors applied like paint.
Bahng also wore various hoodies from the drop, from a simple white pick with the outlines of different Pokémon on the back to fuzzy felts with the Pokémons's ears on the hoods, which give a new meaning to getting into character. (The Snorlax one looks perfect for a nap.) Other pieces in the collection Bahng wore are t-shirts with the Vandy logo and some iconic Pokémon, as well as a Charizard varsity jacket and a Pikachu varsity jacket with the brand's signature flower logo sleeves.
Vandy the Pink is a South Korean contemporary fashion label by Junghoon Son, a designer with expertise in streetwear. The brand rose to fame because of their custom sneakers and continue to draw attention with their recent collabs.
On the brand's Instagram post, Bahng commented, “BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE,” and "anyone who knows me knows how much i love pokémon..so modelling for this collection is such a dream come true 🙏 thankyou so much @vandythepink @pokemon i am so grateful for this opportunity 🫶."
In addition to modeling, Bahng is taking on another big project this year. She's set to embark on a sold-out United States tour early this month. "I'm a big believer in experiencing life while you have the chance," she told Teen Vogue in an interview last year. “There's so much I want to do.”
