An arrest has been made after a restaurant manager in Laguna Beach, Calif., was found dead in a “secluded location” over the weekend by a construction worker, according to a press statement by local police.

Laguna Beach Police responded to the location on Sunday morning and discovered the body, which was later identified as Tatum Goodwin, according to the statement.

Friends told KTLA that Goodwin had joined them for post-work drinks nearby the night before her body was found.

By Wednesday, authorities had “enough information and evidence” to track down Dino Rojas-Moreno, the suspect in the 27-year-old’s killing, they said in the press statement.

In a GoFundMe, Marcos Salim Heredi, who worked with Goodwin at Carmelita's Restaurants, said Goodwin “was a very hard working young lady and always kept a smile on her face.”

“We are still in disbelief and we don't want her to go unforgotten,” he wrote. “We are attempting to raise capital for her memorial services and also help with creating a memorial in the city, so everyone in town never forgets about our sweet friend Tatum.”

Goodwin worked there for four years, he said.

Rojas-Moreno, 26, did not have any relationship with the victim and was allegedly “super weird,” Goodwin’s friend and neighbor Georgette Schuda told The Orange County Register.

He worked at the Royal Hawaiian Fire Grill, according to the outlet, which is less than half a mile from Carmelita's Restaurants in Laguna Beach.

Jail records show Rojas-Moreno, from Aliso Viejo, Calif., is being held on a $1 million bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has retained an attorney.

Laguna Beach police did not respond to PEOPLE’s requests for further information.
