Hilary Duff calls out her neighbour for bad behaviour

Hilary Duff has taken to social media to publicly blast her misbehaving neighbour.

In an Instagram story, the star shared the name of her New York neighbour, Dieter Addison, before launching into a tirade.

“Calling all New Yorkers with asshole neighbours – really open to any advice you can have,” Duff says in the video. “My neighbour smokes cigarettes and weed all night long. My apartment reeks. Seriously what do I do?”

Duff wasn’t done venting. The star, who films the television series “Younger” in New York City, proceeded to make several jabs at Addison.

“We know your parents pay your rent. We know you’ve never worked a day in your life – must be nice,” Duff sniped. “Have some respect for your neighbours who work hard to live in that building. Don’t be a dick dude – put your trash down the shoot.

The Instagram blast was spurred on after Duff worked a long day on set. In another post, Duff writes, “Worked 15 hours yesterday and back at work again at 5:30 a.m. This is the real world Dieter.”

Duff located Addison’s private instagram account and shared a screen cap to social media.

In another frame, she slams him for his alleged violent behaviour.

“Stop breaking all your furniture when you fight with your girlfriend or boyfriend. It scares me and my son. Therapy is cheaper.”

Duff is the mother of six-year-old son, Luca Comrie whom she shares with ex-husband, former- NHL hockey player, Mike Comrie.

Fans took to social media to support the star for calling-out her terrible neighbour.

So far, Addison hasn’t issued any public comment to his famous neighbour’s video.

Here’s hoping he learns his lesson and keeps the smoking to a minimum!
