Our Hot Chocolate Is A Hot Commodity Come Wintertime

Ingredients
2 c.
whole milk
1/4 c.
(50 g.) granulated sugar
2 tbsp.
unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of flaky sea salt
1 oz.
dark chocolate (67% cacao), chopped
1 oz.
semisweet chocolate (46% cacao), chopped
Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and mini marshmallows, for serving (optional)
Directions
In a small saucepan over low heat, cook milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and sea salt, whisking frequently, until sugar is completely dissolved and milk is hot to the touch, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add dark chocolate and semisweet chocolate and whisk until melted and smooth and mixture is cohesive, about 2 minutes.
Divide hot chocolate between 2 mugs. Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and marshmallows (if using).
