Inside Dakota and Elle Fanning's $2.85 Million Childhood Home

Can you even imagine growing up a Fanning? Cementing your reputation as an acclaimed actress by age 8, casually rubbing shoulders with Denzel Washington and Annette Bening, raking in millions before you're old enough to drive ... Nope, we can't either. Although the uber lucky Fanning sisters seem to have it all, they're giving up a major symbol of their childhood this year: their family home.

According to Trulia, the Fannings' Studio City abode has been in the family since they purchased it for $1.325 Million in 2003 (the Uptown Girls era). The sprawling 3,582 square foot French country-style home is the embodiment of architectural luxury. If we had the power to rewrite our childhood, we would make sure it took place in this house--it's literally fit for a princess (or two). Just look at those chandeliers!

Built in 1953, Dakota and Elle's childhood home is the spacious and classically decorated type of residence we can imagine finding in Victorian England--the perfect workshop for the Bront? sisters or Jane Austen. It can't be easy for the Fannings to say goodbye.
