Kate Middleton steals the show in $230 dress on Charlotte's first day of school
It’s the official first day of school for both Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who is following in the footsteps of her older brother in attending Thomas’s Battersea for the first time this September.
Accompanied by their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Charlotte and George arrived this morning to greet the school’s Headteacher Helen Haslem before heading inside.
To celebrate the occasion, the family shared photos and videos from the big day on their official Instagram account, where followers were quick to join in the festivities with well wishes for Charlotte’s first day.
“This is so lovely! Hoping little Princess Charlotte will have a great time at school,” wrote one supportive follower.
“Beautiful. But can we just take a minute to appreciate how stunning Kate looks,” shared another.
Dressed in a floral Michael Kors shirtdress that she previously wore while attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding rehearsal last year, the Duchess of Cambridge showed off a refreshed hairdo for the back to school season.
Her navy, red, and white floral dress coordinated perfectly with the children’s Thomas’s Battersea uniform, as well as Prince William’s blue blazer for a stylish family fashion moment.
The 37-year-old royal completed her look with navy suede Prada pumps, and a pair of diamond hoop earrings by Asprey London.
Although Kate’s colourful floral dress is no longer available, there are a few similar Michael Michael Kors dresses that have been updated with new prints for fall 2019.
