J.Crew's Newest Accessory Is All About Self-Expression

From Sweet

If you've ever daydreamed about being a fashion designer (like, say, Jenna Lyons) for a day, J.Crew just brought you one step closer. This week, the retailer turned design decisions over to its customers with the release of customizable handbags. The two styles-the Signet camera bag ($128 to $298) and the All Day Tote ($178)-come in a rainbow of colors and finishes, from spotted calf hair to red pebbled leather.

Since accessories need accessories, there are also bag tags, coin purses, and mini silk scarves to round out the launch. This being J.Crew, shoppers have the option to monogram their creations, but why waste those three letters on your initials when you have things like "wow" "omg" and "yes" at your disposal?
