Jennifer Lopez Put a Frosty Magnetic Spin on Her Signature Nude Nails

ICYMI, Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog saw his shadow on Groundhog Day, so we're in for another six weeks of winter. Good thing Jennifer Lopez has some nail inspo on hand (pun intended) to get us through the final stretch of the season.
Though the star does dabble in other colors and textures, the classic nude nail is definitely her mani comfort zone. For the 2025 Grammys, however, Lopez and her go-to manicurist Tom Bachik upped the ante with a frosty magnetic finish—one you may have seen all over TikTok.
Remember when magnetic nails first went viral… or whatever the late-2000s equivalent of viral was? (I still think about those Sally Hansen polishes with the special cap that “magnetized” your polish.) The look comes in and out of vogue as most trends do, and it's currently back in style. Lopez's version is a slightly more upscale version of the amateur magnetic looks I tried back in the day, which makes sense given it's 2025 and not 2005 and nail polish technology has definitely improved since then.
For her “iced chai” manicure, Bachik used his Click Colors Magnet Gel in the shade Iced Chai, naturally, giving Lopez's nails a frosted champagne finish with lots of shimmer and a subtle magnetic effect. He sealed the look with a clear topcoat and applied a very fancy combo of La Mer's Renewal Oil and Hand Cream to her cuticles. The nails themselves were long and almond-shaped, and if you missed them at the Grammys, it's because they were hidden under a pair of long black opera gloves! For the after party, Lopez let them shine and accessorized with a pair of diamond rings. Thankfully we got to see the magnetic mani in all its frosty, shimmery, snow queen glory, because it certainly seems like the perfect set for the final weeks of winter. Take that, Phil!
