Jennifer Lopez's Daughter Emme "Didn't Overthink" Performing at the Super Bowl

Jennifer Lopez’s Daughter Emme Is Already Making Huge Career Moves

She's 12.

For most musicians, performing at the Super Bowl is something of a lifelong goal, a milestone you spend decades working toward.

For Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s 12-year-old daughter Emme Muñiz, it was just a Sunday in Miami.

The tween joined her famous mom and Shakira on stage this past February, belting “Let’s Get Loud” before an audience of millions. While this may sound like an anxiety-fueled nightmare for many, Emme didn’t let the pressure get to her.

"I just don’t overthink it,” Muñiz told People of performing with her mom. "I get up there and do it."

Music isn’t the only interest the middle schooler is pursuing in the public eye. Emme wrote a book. Lord Help Me, a children’s book about prayer, comes out next week.

"I really hope children are able to learn to pray, share the book and spread the power of prayer after reading it,” she told the outlet.

In addition to “inspiring prayers for every day,” Emme’s book also shines a light on one of her favorite animals: sloths. “I want to donate to organizations that build sloth sanctuaries,” she explained.

The pre-teen multi-hyphenate opened up about her brother Max as well, sharing that she and her twin “have a special relationship,” adding, “Since we were very little, I could always understand him when no one else could."
