Jessica Chastain rocks white tie dress at the Tribeca Film Festival: 'Gorgeous'
Jessica Chastain's latest red carpet look included a classic menswear accessory.
On Tuesday evening, the Academy Award-winner attended the premiere of her latest film "The Forgiven" during the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
The 45-year-old shared a photo of her unique look with her 4.6 million Instagram followers, which showed off her menswear-inspired gown.
Chastain opted for a black sleeveless frock that cinched at the waist and fell to the floor. Its halter neckline featured a collar and a single bold accessory: a white satin tie.
According to her stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Chastain chose to pair her Ralph Lauren dress without any other accessories (other than black platform heels) to make her tie the centre of attention.
For glam, makeup artist Kristofer Buckle amped up the star's ivory complexion with natural makeup, long lashes and a dusting of bronzer on the apples of her cheeks. Chastain wore her hair sleek straight and loose, finishing her look with nude-coloured nails.
"We’re headed to @tribeca @theforgivenfilm," she captioned the post.
Fans were obsessed with Chastain's latest red carpet ensemble, calling it "another fashion win."
"Love that dress. A little bit of business and a lot of fun," commented a fan. "Love to see you changing it up on the red carpet!"
"Absolutely perfect. You cannot get any more radiant and gorgeous, Jessica!" a follower told Chastain.
"Wow. Just wow! This is another fashion win. Where can I get myself a white tie like that?" raved another follower.
"My jaw is on the floor! We love a stunning queen who knows how to dress!" said another.
"Your timeless beauty and confidence on the fashion front is simply outstanding. Can't wait to see what you do next!" wrote another.
