Jillian Harris reveals why she didn't date her fiancé 'sooner' in hilarious Instagram

Jillian Harris is proving why "timing really is everything" when it comes to relationships.

On Monday, the 42-year-old "Love It or List It Vancouver" host took to Instagram to share a hilarious reel explaining why her and her fiancé, Justin Passutto, didn't "date sooner."

In the video, Harris poked fun at photos of Passutto from 2009 to highlight their age gap.

"When they ask us why didn't we date sooner," she wrote in the caption to her 1.3 million followers. "Timing really is everything. I love you, Justin Pasutto. l can't wait to squeeze you and our sweet babies tonight."

Harris' video was quickly met with praise from fans who thanked the mother-of-two for her honesty.

"Lol, this is amazing. Timing really is everything! You two came together at the perfect time when you were both improved versions of yourself. Love that so much!" one Instagram user commented.

Another added: "OMG. I snort-laughed at this."

"These are amazing!" someone else wrote.

One person shared: "My husband is seven years older than me and it’s always funny when we are talking about childhood shows and I’m like, 'no, I was in grade one when you were watching that...'"

"These pictures are adorable," one fan pointed out.

While Harris and Passutto haven't officially tied the knot, the pair announced their engagement in 2016 and have since welcomed two children, a six-year-old son, Leo, and a three-year-old daughter, Annie Bea Marjorie.

In 2020, the couple re-announced their engagement after Harris accidentally threw away her original engagement ring.

"Wow wow wow! That was totally unreal. So, a little backstory: About six months ago I accidentally threw out my beautiful engagement ring in the recycling. Once I had realized what had happened it was long gone. Thankfully Justin didn’t waste any time ordering a new one," she wrote alongside a new engagement photo.
