John Stamos Posts Heartbreaking Instagram About 'Fuller House' Ending Featuring Lori Loughlin
The end of the Fuller House franchise is here, and John Stamos is really emotional about it.
On his Instagram page this weekend, John declared that the cast has finished the last taping of the Netflix Full House spinoff series, which first launched on the streaming service in February 2016. Alongside a series of photos, the 56-year-old actor penned touching words about the fifth and final season of Fuller House.

"When every single network and streamer said no to a Full House re-boot, (and I mean ALL of them) @netflix said yes! And they were kind enough to let us play for five seasons! That’s a lot of seasons for a Netflix show now a days, but not nearly enough for us," he wrote.
John continued to say that he is "grateful" to his fellow co-stars for "keeping the legacy alive and adding so much love to it." He also thanked both new and old fans of Full House and Fuller House for continuing to support the family-friendly franchise.
He concluded: "Decency is at an all time low, and discord at an all time high — thank God for family television like Fuller House! It’s been a laugh and a tear - I am grateful to the fans FOREVER! Love and mercy, John."
The heartfelt post prompted lots of emotional responses from his fans and co-stars, including Bob Saget who wrote "Well said brother" and Andrea Barber's comment, "All the love."
Despite Lori Loughlin's ongoing legal disputes in the college admissions scandal, John's post included six pictures with his former on-screen wife. In May, he also posted a photo of the Fuller House crew that included Lori, even though she is unlikely to return to the series.
In an interview with GQ in August, John admitted that it was tough for him to hear about the scandal, in which Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were accused of paying bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California. Lori and Mossimo are expected to go on trial next year.
"Honestly I can't figure it out. It doesn't make sense ... I talked to her the morning everything hit," he told the outlet. "I just can't process it still.”
Despite the ongoing Lori drama, other Fuller House cast members are, like John, focusing on the series coming to an end. Notably, Candace Cameron Bure has been sharing lots of heartfelt Instagrams about wrapping up. Before filming the series finale, she said she was having a "hard couple of days" coming to terms with the end.

"I've still been in tears all morning — no makeup, crying, got zit cream all over my face, it's been a hard couple days," the Hallmark Christmas movie star told her followers."We are currently filming the fifth and final season of Fuller House. There will be no season 6, this is it."
The final season of Fuller House is set to be released on the streaming service sometime in December.
