A large part of my job as a shopping editor is to keep up with the sartorial ongoings of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle (it's a tough job, but someone has to do it).
One of the things I admire most about the Princess of Wales is that, come rain or shine, she rarely shies away from colour. In her on-and-off-duty wardrobe, the 40-year-old often turns to bright shades of red, purple and yellow — the latter of which was showcased during a recent outing in Surrey.
On Wednesday, Kate paid a visit to a maternity unit inside the Royal Surrey County Hospital, where she met with staff and patients. Bringing the sartorial sunshine with her, the Princess wore a mustard yellow pleated midi dress from Karen Millen.
