What Kate Middleton is like as a mom

Last month, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with Prince William for a very glamorous evening on Monday night to attend the annual Royal Variety Performance. The royal couple opted for their black-tie best for their night at the theater, which was met with a number of musical performances from "Mary Poppins" and "Come From Away" to raise money for the organization.

But as it turns out, even at work engagements, her children are not very far from Duchess Kate's thoughts. In fact, their night was filled with a lot of discussions about the couple's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

It seems that despite her official Her Royal Highness Title, the duchess is just like any other mother!

A patron of a number of charities, the duchess is committed to her royal duties, having stepped out for 87 public engagements alone in 2018 despite taking months off for the birth of Prince Louis. The royal juggles these public duties with her responsibilities as a mother, a role she has been incredibly vocal about, and brings her experience as a parent to much of her patronage work.
