Katie Meade is a 32-year-old model with Down syndrome. She’s also the new face of Beauty & Pin-Ups Fearless Hair Rescue treatment.

“When we hear the word fearless, we think of Katie Meade,” says the brand in a press release.

“Katie has battled heart surgery, competed in the Special Olympics, and shines as a Best Buddies International spokeswoman. She’s also a daughter, a sister and a friend who has broken down barriers, busted stereotypes and stigmas and won over countless hearts, including ours.”

“She is our sole inspiration for Beauty & Pin-Ups’ newest product, Fearless Hair Rescue Masque.”

“This product is about so much more than healthy hair – it’s about breaking down social norms, barriers and misperceptions,” says the brand.

“It’s about confidence and beauty, inside and out. It’s about being fearless in whatever you do. And it’s because, as Katie says, ‘looking good is feeling good.’”

Meade credits her two sister for her “fearless” attitude.
