Kourtney Kardashian Responded to Negative Comments About Her Friendship with Addison Rae

Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian Responded to Rumors That They Both Are Pregnant

People are ... bored.

Out of all the duos emerging from 2020, Kourtney Kardashian and Addison Rae's friendship was one of the least expected. Kourt, 41, is a full-fledged reality star and a mother to three children, while Addison, 19, is a famous TikToker. From the on-set, the internet was confused as to what they could possibly have in common given their age difference, and, months later, they continue to question the authenticity of the pair's relationship.

Case in point: On Saturday, Kourtney posted a series of bikini-clad photos of herself and Addison in the pool at her Calabasas mansion on Instagram, and the comments began pouring in about how them hanging out is "weird."

"Two more days of summer," Kardashian captioned the post of her and Addison in coordinating crochet swimsuits.

"This will never stop being weird," wrote one user, while another quipped: "I can't imagine what their conversations are made up of." Many directly called out their age gap, with a commenter questioning, "Why do u hang out w girls literally more than half ur age?"

However, it was an exchange between two critics that prompted the Poosh founder to finally clap back. "This friendship still weirds me tf out," expressed one user, to which the second replied back in a since-deleted comment, "She's 41 and she's hanging around with 19 year olds in swimming pools." Kourt chimed into their conversation, saying, "Do you suggest a better place? I'm looking for ideas..."

Kourtney and Addison first forged a friendship earlier this year when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star enlisted the teen to help her 10-year-old son Mason brush up on his TikTok skills. Ever since, Kourtney and Addison hit it off and have become inseparable.

"We surprised Mason because Mason liked my videos on TikTok," Addison explained on The Tom Ward Show back in June, adding, "I kind of just stuck around and we got really close. We started working out together. We did a video on her YouTube of us doing a butt workout and stuff, so that was fun."
