Memorial Day is almost upon us — and so are the food deals.

During the long weekend, which honors all those who have died serving in the military, certain restaurant and snack chains are dishing out sweet offers, starting with Krispy Kreme.

The donut chain crunched some numbers to brainstorm their latest deal. Since 38.4 million Americans are expected to travel for the holiday, according to AAA, the chain is giving out a dozen glazed donuts for just $3.84. The only catch? Customers must purchase a full-priced dozen to snag the discounted one.

From Friday, May 24, through Monday, May 27, the donut deal is available at participating Krispy Kreme shops. There’s a limit of two dozen per customer.

Papa Johns is getting in on the freebies on Memorial Day weekend, too. When customers join Papa Rewards and place an order between May 24 and May 26, they can earn a free medium one-topping pizza on their next order.
