Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts — if you dress the part. What to know
Krispy Kreme is celebrating Barbie’s birthday with free doughnuts, as long as you’re wearing the fashion icon’s favorite color.
Customers who wear pink to participating Krispy Kreme shops on Saturday, Sept. 7, can receive a free original glazed doughnut, according to the North Carolina-based doughnut chain.
The freebie is limited to one per person, and no purchase is necessary.
The one-day offer coincides with the new Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection celebrating the doll brand’s 65th anniversary, according to a news release.
The limited-time lineup features four new doughnuts inspired by Barbie:
Barbie Pink doughnut
Malibu Dream Party doughnut
Barbie Berries n’ Kreme doughnut
Barbie Sweet 65th doughnut
“We’re bringing Barbie’s iconic fashions to life through delicious doughnuts that are sure to thrill Barbie and Krispy Kreme fans alike,” Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release.
