Krispy Kreme Is Selling $2 Dozens This Week

Those manning the kitchen on Super Bowl Sunday will likely tell you that it takes more effort than you might expect to whip up the perfect spread of appetizers, sandwich trays, and football-inspired desserts. And don’t even get us started on snack stadiums–those take hours to assemble, not even including the food.

For the non-cooks however, the hardest part of the day is simply waiting until the right time to eat all of the delicious food. So, while you’re likely saving the slow cooker full of Texas Pulled Pork until later, it can be helpful to offer something in the meantime to keep hangry guests at bay before game time. Enter: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. They’re easy to grab and always please a crowd. Even better–this week you can snag a dozen for just $2.

Krispy Kreme’s Big Game Doughnut Deal

Krispy Kreme just launched the “Big Game Dozen,” a football-themed box that’s perfect for all of your game day festivities. The box will be available starting Friday, Feb. 7 through Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 9. It includes six Original Glazed Doughnuts and six football-shaped doughnuts filled with the chain’s signature white Kreme. To transform the fluffy yeast doughnuts into footballs, the top of each is dipped in chocolate icing and piped with white icing to look like football laces.

If you’re planning to order for a large crowd, doing so ahead of time is ideal. Starting Feb. 3, you can preorder catering sizes online. It’s a good way to ensure you don’t hold up the drive-thru and that there are plenty of football-shaped doughnuts to go around.

Guests with smaller orders can shop in-store or through the Krispy Kreme app for pickup or delivery. Those who stop by on Sunday can score a $2 Original Glazed dozen when they purchase any dozen or 16-count mini doughnuts, at full price. If your menu is already set, consider surprising your sweetie with a flower-inspired Valentine’s Day doughnut next week instead.
