Lifestyles of the rich and famous seem to include ignoring medical advice and matching halter tops to high tops. In her latest Instagram posts, Kylie Jenner let all of her followers know that she's in Paris with her friend Fai Khadra. That's Paris, France, which is definitely not in California, where she lives, and where COVID-19 safety protocols say she should stay to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to the BBC, the city instituted a new mask mandate because COVID-19 numbers are, unfortunately, starting to rise again in the French city. In her photos, which include Jenner and Khadra on a rooftop, there are no masks — there aren't any masks in any of the gallery's photos or Jenner's Stories, according to Elle, though there is a Takashi Murakami-print mask on the table in one of her Stories — but Jenner did show off a fresh pair of Dior Air Force 1s and a matching Dior Oblique-print halter top. She completed the look with a throwback exotic-skin shoulder bag and baggy plaid pants.

Jenner's Parisian itinerary included a stop at the Louvre and shoe shopping at Hermès in addition to the rooftop photoshoot and some outdoor dining.
The trip isn't Jenner's first time disregarding Governor Gavin Newsom's travel ban. Back in July, she and Khadra headed to Utah and, earlier this month, she was spotted in Turks and Caicos alongside her sister Kendall. While not all travel has been banned in California, the state explains that "urgent matters" and "permitted work" are allowed. Trips to Utah and Paris for shoe shopping and Instagram posts don't seem to be "urgent" or "permitted," though Jenner may think otherwise.

"You can travel for urgent matters or if such travel is essential to your permitted work. Even though businesses around the state are opening up, avoid traveling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus," California guidelines state. The site adds that "if you do travel, take steps to keep everyone safe like wearing a face covering, keeping 6 feet of physical distance from those not in your household, and washing your hands frequently."
