Leslie Jones, 50, shows off her undergarments in see-through birthday dress

Leslie Jones turned 50, and no one on the internet can believe it.

The comedian posted a photo to her Twitter on Thursday night, writing “I’m 50 & Slaying Y’all!!!!!!” and posing next to some balloons like every birthday girl should. She’s rocking a sheer black halter dress framed with delicate lace. The top may say “50,” but the bottom is all slay. The sheer dress completely shows off her legs, and she kept the look sophisticated with what appears to be a black leotard underneath. She completed the ensemble with some black strappy heels. According to her Twitter, the outfit was put together by her personal stylist, Brian Mcphatter.

Jones received thousands of comments in response to the photo, almost all of them expressing disbelief that she’s been on earth for half a century. Everyone from fans to her SNL co-stars to famous pals reached out with birthday messages.

In the universal truth that getting ready for the party is always more fun than the party itself, Jones got truly down with a birthday cake in her robe, and she shared the whole thing in a video on Twitter.

With the premiere of SNL on Sept. 30, Jones still has some time to turn her birthday weekend into a birthday month. What better way to celebrate turning 50?
