Lindsay Lohan's 'Baby Doll' makeup look is a masterclass in overlined lips
There's something to be said about nailing an assignment, and I mean that in the most literal way possible; boast, brag, and toot your own horn because sometimes, self-praise is the ultimate congratulations... Ash K Holm, I'm looking @ you because the masterclass you just gave in 'Baby Doll makeup' à la Lindsay Lohan is *chef's kiss*.
Just short of 24 hours ago [September 9, 2024], makeup artist Ash K Holm – whose clientele includes the Kardashian-Jenner family, Ariana Grande, Megan Fox and of course, Lindsay Lohan – took to Instagram to share the results of her latest work.
"Baby Doll Makeup," writes Ash to caption the image of the Freaky Friday actor.
At first glance, we can, of course, appreciate Lindsay's beauty but on closer inspection, the makeup look is one to note. The orange-toned blush and filtered skin make for a porcelain doll-like base while the sheer coverage allows for Lindsay's natural freckles to peek through.
Our favourite aspect of this glam, however, has to be the lips. Ash has subtly created an overlined lip while still keeping Lindsay's pout looking very natural. It's all about balance.
Keeping the liner tight to the lip line on the sides and corners, Ash previously explained in a social media video how she creates her signature 'poutier' look. "It's really important to completely shade in the corners on the top and bottom. So that way you get a nice contoured lip look," Ash said.
