In preparation for Black Friday, a lot of brands have started quietly marking down must-haves. So rather than doing what I typically do—a.k.a. stressing myself out on Black Friday trying to shop every sale—I’m starting early. And my first stop is Lululemon.

This thick sweatshirt is a favorite of shoppers, with nearly 1,000 perfect ratings. It has a cozy, slightly oversized fit. But thanks to a subtle crop, it doesn’t feel too frumpy. It’s also made from the “softest fabric ever,” according to fans. It’s pretty much everything you might want in a sweatshirt: “It is buttery…fits great and is super comfortable.”
Ribbed Softstreme Zip-Leg High-Rise Cropped Pant

The Ribbed Softstreme pants—made from that same shopper-loved material as the above sweatshirt—fall somewhere between a legging and sweater pants, making them a must-have for winter. The stretchy style sits high on the waist and features a zipper at the leg that can take the pants from a straight leg to a flare. Plus, they’re available in eight colors, including this beautiful chocolate brown, black, and a soft green.
Asymmetrical Front-Twist T-Shirt

While Lululemon might be the most famous for its workout staples, the brand also makes great elevated basics. This cropped T-shirt puts a (literal) twist on the classic style. It’s cool and unique but still very wearable, with shoppers saying that they’ve worn it to the gym, with a high-waisted pair of jeans, and even dressed it up with a blazer.
