Lupita Nyong’o Turns Up The Heat By Adding Some Pizzazz To The Trouserless Trend
Lupita Nyong’o just showed us all how to do the trouserless trend right.
The actor, who is in the midst of the press tour for upcoming film A Quiet Place: Day One, made a head-turning appearance in New York City on Monday dressed in a unique take on the classic tuxedo.
She stepped out in a sleek black tuxedo bodysuit from Dolce & Gabbana, complete with structured shoulders and satin lapels. Instead of styling the look with trousers, Nyong’o added a fabulous pair of black fishnet tights, capping it off with black pointed-toe pumps.

She continued to up the ante with the rest of her outfit’s accessories, including a bedazzled mini bag by Warp, a multi-strand diamond choker necklace, and chic black sunglasses from Silhouette. For a pop of colour, she wore a glossy deep red lip.
Nyong’o’s press tour for the Quiet Place prequel (which comes out in cinemas this Friday, June 28) has been anything but quiet. Working in tandem with stylist Micaela Erlanger, the Oscar winner has delivered one masterful look after another.
For instance, on the same day she wore the Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo bodysuit, Nyong’o was also seen in another monochromatic look—this time an entirely white ensemble composed of a shiny cropped white jacket paired with matching cargo trousers. She added white sneakers and a white net bag, too.
She went the monochromatic route once again this morning, when she headed out in a ravishing all-red outfit that included a tomato-red minidress, a matching slouchy coat, and bright red pumps.
