Madonna's 22-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon shows off body hair on the red carpet
Like mother, like daughter!
Madonna’s 22-year-old daughter is making headlines for her cutting edge style.
Earlier this week, the pop icon’s eldest child, Lourdes Leon, made an appearance on the red carpet of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund 15th Anniversary Event in New York City.
Leon arrived in a white mini dress showing off her leg hair as she posed with designer Raul Lopez.
This isn’t the first time Leon has proudly showed off her body hair. Earlier this year, she walked the runway for Gypsy Sport during New York Fashion Week wearing a shell bra and ripped jeans that revealed her leg hair.
Although she normally keeps a low profile, her famous mother occasionally shares photos of her daughter “Lola” to Instagram – including this snap at New Years of Leon and her armpit hair.

The aspiring model may be taking a page from her mother by foregoing the razor. In 2011, Madonna told Harper’s Bazaar that she embraced her body hair in high school saying, “Going to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite. I refused to wear makeup, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits.”
The 60-year-old still embraces the trend from time to time. In 2014, she shared a photo of herself with armpit hair to social media with the caption “Long hair….Don’t care.”

Leon, who has spent most of her life out of the spotlight, seems to be inching into the spotlight over the past couple of years.

Earlier this year, Leon was featured in a spread in Vogue Germany alongside Milla Jovovich, and previously starred in a 2016 campaign for Stella McCartney’s fragrance, POP.
