McDonald's continues to push the envelope on its items. We recently saw it showcase its flavor combos with the newest McFlurry flavor to hit the menu. And it seems like it's been keenly tuned in to what its audience wants: more international options here in the States.

We saw this firsthand with the big move to bring its international fan-favorite dipping sauce to the U.S. for the first time, and it seems like they're keeping up with this winning streak. However, this newest international flavor is only available in one U.S. location.

The new Biscoff McFlurry features vanilla ice cream mixed with Biscoff cookie crumbles, all topped with ooey-gooey caramel sauce. The dessert was recently sold in Belgium, and the Golden Arches has decided to test this flavor here—but there’s a catch. It’s only available at the Global Menu restaurant in Chicago. This location brings us many international favorites, like the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands or the McCurry Wurst from Germany.

I personally would love to try this newest McFlurry, but the fact that it's only in one area is disheartening, to say the least. Many took to social media to share their dismay. Chicago's location has a rotating menu, so most items last only about 6-8 weeks, prompting even more anger from the internet.

"If they don't release this immediately there will be hell to pay," one user wrote.

"Yeah they can take the Kit Kat flavor back. We the people want this instead," another insisted.

Another added, "To only sell it in one city is crazy. This is why I get upset with McDonald's."

But maybe it would be worth the drive. One user mentioned having this exact item when visiting Vienna and claimed it "tastes like true happiness." Perhaps a trip to Chicago is in order.
