Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the Duke of Sussex’s 40th birthday at the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament, supporting a good cause. The sporting event, which took place at the Los Angeles Tennis Club, is dedicated to raising funds for children in foster care. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to making a positive impact on the children’s lives and giving them the protections, resources, and opportunities they need.

George Zajfen is the late son of Meghan's friend Kelly McKee Zajfen. He died at nine years old in July 2022 from COVID-19 and viral meningitis.

Per an Instagram post shared by McKee Zajfen, Meghan and Harry acted as presenting sponsors for the tournament through their Archewell Foundation.

'Harry and Meghan, you have been such a guiding light for our family not just In the way you have shown up in friendship but how you have shown up through the incredible work the Archewell Foundation does every day,' McKee Zajfen wrote next to a series of photos of them together on the court, including one of herself and Meghan hugging. 'I’m in awe of your commitment to community and to friendship. On behalf of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, we thank you. On behalf of our family, we love you.'

McKee Zajfen also wished Harry a happy birthday. 'Extra special day too... HAPPY 40th Birthday H! May this trip around the sun be the best yet,' she wrote.

In the images, taken by Vanessa Preziose for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, Meghan is seen wearing a collared halterneck minidress in butter yellow tweed from Giuliva Heritage. She wore the button-up piece with light brown suede block-heel sandals, a Carolina Herrera Doma Insignia top-handle bag in caramel brown, and aviator sunglasses. Her hair was down in relaxed California girl waves.

Harry coordinated in his own casually preppy look: a classic white tee worn with a navy button-up left open, navy slacks, and grey trainers.
