Florals for spring—groundbreaking? Well, maybe when the Duchess of Sussex sports them. This weekend, Meghan Markle made a video appearance at Global Citizen's Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World which she co-chaired with her husband, Prince Harry. While Harry turned up to the event in person, Meghan, who is expecting the couple's second child, gave a virtual speech instead, looking radiant in a vivid coral floral dress by Carolina Herrera.

It's not the first time in recent months that Meghan has showed off her botanical side—she also wore a flower-embroidered dress with a special meaning for her and Harry's famous interview with Oprah earlier this year. While the Carolina Herrera number appears to simply be a beautiful style statement, in true Markle fashion, she did don a piece with symbolic significance in the form of the Awe Inspired Woman Power Charm Necklace.

"As campaign chairs of Vax Live, my husband and I believe it's critical that our recovery prioritizes the health, safety and success of everyone, particularly women who have been disproportionately affected by this pandemic," Meghan said during her speech. "Women, and especially women of color, have seen a generation of economic gain wiped out. Since the pandemic began, nearly five-and-a-half million women have lost work in the U.S. And 47 million more women around the world are expected to slip into extreme poverty."

The duchess, who is expecting a baby girl, added, "When we think of her, we think of all the other families around the globe who must be given the ability and support to lead us forward. Their future leadership depends on the decisions we make and the actions we take now to set them up and to set all of us up for a successful, equitable, and compassionate tomorrow."
