Move Over, Trees — Reese’s Has New Nutcracker-Shaped Pieces for the Holidays
Hershey’s knows exactly what we want to snack on before we even do. For the holidays, we’ve been indulging in the new Sugar Cookie Kisses, and now we’ll be mixing in some Reese’s. The beloved chocolate-and-peanut-butter-duo comes in a new Nutcracker shape for the 2020 holiday season.
Nutcrackers resemble toy soldier figurines and date back to German tradition, but they’ve become quite the symbol for Christmastime. Not only do the Reese's have nutcracker packaging in different colors, but the candies themselves also look like nutcrackers. So you get the same chocolate and peanut butter you love — but these pieces are smaller, individually wrapped, and totally festive for the holidays.
“One of the joys of the season is discovering the latest Reese’s Peanut butter Cup holiday shapes. Well, open your arms (and your mouth) and welcome Reese’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Nutcrackers Snack Size treats,” the description says.
You won’t have to look too hard to find these, because they’re available at a variety of stores, including Walmart, Rite Aid, and other retailers. The 10-ounce bags are around $3, and will be a welcome addition to any Christmas gift.
Look, we don’t know why Reese’s always taste better when they’re in a fun shape — they just do. These aren’t the same size as the tree-shaped cups you get around the holidays, so you’ll have to see how the nutcrackers compare!
