Natalie Portman Looks Like a Candy-Coated Princess in Dior at the 2024 Golden Globes

Natalie Portman is Hollywood royalty, so we shouldn’t be surprised when she shows up to the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet looking like a princess.

The 42-year-old star arrived at the Beverly Hilton in L.A. in a glittering dress from Dior, which was covered in tiny star-shaped sequins in shades of white, purple, yellow, blue, and green, giving the effect of a multicolored piece of candy—or even a field of flowers sprouting out of the ground, thanks to the green on the skirt of the dress. The spaghetti-strap, scoop-neck gown was paired with Jimmy Choo shoes, and Portman accessorized with silver teardrop earrings from De Beers. Her look was styled by Ryan Hastings.

As for her beauty look, she kept things simple, slicking her hair back into a tight ponytail and sporting a pale pink nude lip.

Portman is nominated tonight for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, thanks to her role as Elizabeth Berry in the Netflix drama May December. The film has four nominations at the Globes tonight, including noms for her co-stars, Julianne Moore and Charles Melton, as well as a nom in the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category.

“It was the luckiest thing ever to work with someone as brilliant as Jules,” Portman previously said of the film in a recent interview with W. “I was such a big fan that it was very scary, but also lucky, that my character was studying what she's doing. All I wanted to do was watch what Julie was doing and copy it, and I got to do that. It was fun to push each other in these scenes where I could do all that nasty stuff.”

This is Portman’s fourth nomination, having claimed two previous wins for her performances in Closer and Black Swan.
