NHLer Jack Campbell's new wife Ashley Sonnenberg shares photos from 'stunning' wedding: 'So much love for you'
Sonnenberg shared the news of her engagement to the Detroit Red Wings goalie in June 2022 after he proposed in Curaçao.
Jack Campbell and Ashley Sonnenberg have officially tied the knot in a dreamlike Mexico wedding. Sonnenberg took to Instagram over the weekend to share numerous black-and-white photos of her nuptials to the NHL goalie, tagging The Cape, a Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas as the location.
In her first post on Friday, the Vancouverite captioned her post "Mr. and Mrs. Soup" with black and white heart emojis. That post included several snapshots from their special day, including moments from the ceremony surrounded by loved ones and pictures of the two posing around their venue. Sonnenberg wore a stunning corset-style wedding gown designed by Galia Lahav.
On Sunday, she posted more photos from their wedding day, adding the caption, "So much love for you." That photo carousel included a picture of her and Campbell sharing a kiss beside a bathtub, as well as more snapshots of them embracing and celebrating.
On both posts, Instagram users spread the love in the comments sections. Lots of people expressed their amazement over the beautiful photos, too.
"Crying again, I love you guys," one attendee wrote.
"Beyond stunning!" someone shared.
"The most beautiful, incredible people got married!" someone else raved.
"The most stunning photos! Congratulations!" one person added.
"Literally the most beautiful wedding photos I have seen!" someone chimed in.
The Detroit Red Wings player and his now-wife got engaged in 2022 in Curaçao, and had since been enjoying their engagement; the couple even decided to get matching tattoos on a trip last fall to La Fortuna, Costa Rica.
But this past June, Sonnenberg also took to Instagram to share snaps from a Bachelorette trip in Nashville, indicating her wedding was near. Back then, she shared a carousel of candid photos and videos from the trip.
While there, she wore an all-white ensemble featuring a pleated mini skirt and a cropped T-shirt, topped off with silver rhinestone pointed-toe stiletto boots. She completed her look with a rhinestone belt and a white cowboy hat.
"Bride or die. Best girls, best bachelorette, best weekend I could ever ask for! Beyond grateful for the best, most fun friends in the world," Sonnenberg captioned that post.
In the comments, her followers flooded her post with compliments on her look. Many people also shared their congratulations for her upcoming wedding to the former Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs player.
"Love you!" her fiancé commented.
"The cutest bride there ever was," a fan penned.
"Stunning bride-to-be! I love the outfit," another shared.
"Best bride!" someone else chimed in.
