While spring promises longer days, warmer weather and blooming flowers, there’s a downside nobody likes to acknowledge: rain, slush and muck.
That’s why it’s smart to invest in good quality boots. Whether they’re tall, short, chunky or light-weight, boots are a footwear staple at this time of year – especially when spring’s unpredictable weather can play havoc on your wardrobe.
If you’re looking for a way to keep your toes toasty and dry without sacrificing style, we’ve found a pair of boots that Nordstrom shoppers can’t get enough of. Feast your eyes on the Dolce Vita Caster H2O Waterproof Block Heel Bootie (shop them in Canada here, shop them in the U.S. here).
Rain is no match for these chic and sleek boots that are made to grip slippery or icy surfaces with ease. But hurry — these $200 CAD/$150 USD booties are selling fast, and we doubt they'll stay in stock for long.
Complete with a lugged sole for traction, a soft lining and elastic top, these boots are specially designed to keep your feet cute, comfy and cozy.
Wear the Caster Bootie on a night out with a minidress and a leather jacket, or more casually with a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. This wardrobe staple is available in camel, dune and ivory suede in both Canada and the U.S., and U.S. shoppers can also purchase a black leather colourway.
What shoppers are saying
Although the Dolce Vita boots have only received a handful of reviews, they’ve already earned a 4.2-star rating.
Thanks to their waterproof sole, grippy design and comfortable fit, Nordstrom shoppers are calling this a “must-buy.”
“They look great and the rubber soles are awesome,” writes one reviewer. “It’s like walking on clouds.”
“So cute, so comfortable, grippy on ice and snow, great colour, a spring staple. What more can I say?” raves another.
In order to get the best fit, Nordstrom shoppers suggest sizing down half a size.
“Based on reviews I ordered ½ size smaller and they fit perfect,” one shopper wrote. “So comfy and easy to get on. A must-buy.”
“I’m usually an 11 in boots and the 10.5 fits perfectly. I have a problem getting boots on for some reason which usually makes me ineligible for boots that don’t zip! But these babies slid right on and they’re also pretty comfy in addition to being stylish,” adds another.
According to Nordstrom shoppers, these waterproof boots are a “cute and comfortable” option for wet spring weather. However, you might want to consider purchasing a half size smaller for an optimal fit.
