Retailing for $128, the just-restocked Black Sheep Sweater is a must-have for any royal fashion fan this fall — and if previous sellouts have been any indication, it won't be in stock for long.

The brand's Black Sheep Sweater is made from a soft recycled cotton blend, with a slightly relaxed fit for extra comfort.

It takes inspiration from the iconic Warm & Wonderful sweater that was first spotted on a then 19-year-old Lady Diana Spencer in 1981 — albeit at a fraction of the price.

While recreations of the Warm & Wonderful sweater are available to pre-order for $405 CAD, the original sweater also made history at a recent auction.

Princess Diana's black sheep sweater sold at Sotheby's New York in September 2023 for $1.14 million USD ($1.56 million CAD). It was accompanied by a letter that was handwritten by the royal, in which she called the sweater a "much loved knit."

Given the steep prices of the alternatives, this Northern Reflections sweater is a great option if you're looking to incorporate a bit of Princess Diana's style into your life.
