When then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh appeared before his accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford, during the controversial Senate Judiciary Committee hearings in September, Kavanaugh feared that the sexual assault allegations made against him would hurt his chances of coaching his daughter's basketball team.

"I love coaching more than anything I’ve ever done in my whole life,” Kavanaugh lamented during his Senate confirmation hearing. “But thanks to what some you on this side of the committee have unleashed [referring to the Senate Democrats] I may never be able to coach again.”

Well, while Dr. Ford is still being harassed and forced to relocate, the now-confirmed Supreme Court Justice has already returned to his first-favorite courts, according to The Washington Post. Over the Thanksgiving break, Kavanaugh (err, "Coach K") was spotted at his daughter's basketball tournament at a high school in Hyattsville, Maryland. Kavanaugh attended the game with security, though Joe Sego, coach and athletic director at St. Jerome in Hyattsville, said his appearance caused "no commotion."

As Kavanaugh gets back to his regular schedule, Dr. Ford and her family have been taking "reasonable steps to protect ourselves against frightening threats, including physical protection and security for me and my family, and to enhance the security for our home," a statement read on her GoFundMe page. Dr. Ford's GoFundMe has already raised close to $650,000 in two months. However, she's no longer accepting donations and announced that after taking care of her security expenses, she'll donate all unused funds to organizations that support trauma survivors.

"Although coming forward was terrifying, and caused disruption to our lives, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to fulfill my civic duty," she continued. "Having done so, I am in awe of the many women and men who have written me to share similar life experiences, and now have bravely shared their experience with friends and family, many for the first time. I send you my heartfelt love and support."
