Pamela Anderson, 56, embraces makeup-free look as the new face of Proenza Schouler

Pamela Anderson is staying true to her word to go makeup-free as the newest face of Proenza Schouler.
The 56-year-old Canadian actress starred in the Spring/Summer 2024 campaign for the New York-based luxury fashion brand, photographed by Davit Giorgadze.
Anderson took to social media with photos from the campaign that feature the '90s TV icon embracing her new minimalist hair and makeup style with more masculine fashions. In the first photo, Anderson posed in a $2,600 Maxwell Anorak in Nylon Gabardine jacket, black trousers and the brand's Monogram Belt in Embossed Leather worth $640.
In a second image, Anderson trades the dark monochromatic look for a slightly oversized white blazer, a grey illusion-mesh layered top and statement making slouchy Ellsworth Jean ($585 CAD) with acid wash details. The "Baywatch" star posed cross-legged to show off the brand's edgy Tee Toe Ring Sandals of $1,100 worn over sheer black tights.
The high-fashion photoshoot won praise from the star's more than 3.2 million Instagram followers, with many cheering on Anderson for going makeup-free.
"Nobody at your level," said writer Evan Ross Katz.
"Live for you doing photoshoots bare faced!" one fan wrote. "You are so beautiful, always have been inside and out."
"Beautiful Pam. I'm glad you're going natural," another echoed. "I admire that."
"The natural beauty revolution has begun," someone added.
In February 2023, Anderson announced via her Substack newsletter The Open Journal that she was focusing less on physical beauty as she ages.
"As I get older, I become wiser and think less and less about looking better, and more about health and wellness," Anderson wrote. "More and more often, I look in the mirror and grin and giggle with pride rather than cry."
In a recent interview with Vogue France, Anderson admitted that she was surprised her decision to go makeup-free at fashion events, including Paris Fashion Week in September of last year, would be considered headline-making news.
"I didn’t really even think anyone would notice,” she told the outlet. “I was doing it more for me than anything. I was just like, ‘Why am I putting so much effort into this? Why am I in a makeup chair for three hours?”
