Panda Express is known for its delicious chicken dishes with serious heat, like the limited-time Blazing Bourbon Chicken, a classic Southern dish with a Taiwanese influence. It's known to be the restaurant's spiciest offering.

Now, the Chinese-American fast-food chain has added a new spicy flavor to the menu that may give the Blazing Bourbon Chicken some serious competition.

Panda Express' New Hot Orange Chicken

Panda Express recently added its new Hot Orange Chicken to the menu for a limited time. The new dish is now available nationwide and is said to be an even spicer take on the company's Original Orange Chicken.

While the original recipe calls for one scoop of crushed chiles, this new version adds six scoops and a ladle of the same dried chiles used in Panda's Kung Pao Chicken entrée.

Panda Express posted about the new recipe on its Instagram, showcasing Culinary Innovation Chef Adrian Lok cooking it in the kitchen: "We're making the orange chicken everyone knows and loves but spicer."

Many quickly commented about the latest dish, saying, "I had it today and loved it," and, "Game changer."

The chef explains that this dish is "sweet, tangy," and the "spice level is kicked up a notch," making it a must-try at your local restaurant.

Fans can enjoy the new Hot Orange Chicken until June 23 or while supplies last. If you're a fan of some heat, you better head over there while you can and give it a try.
