The iconic brand typically adds to its discount section at the beginning of each season, offering savings on past season’s products or colors. It’s low-key one of the best ways to save some coin on Patagonia gear—along with buying used from the Worn Wear program, of course.
What tends to happen is at the start of a season, Patagonia will update that section with all sorts of new items and new colors. It usually gets picked through fairly quick, and stuff will stay sized out until the next season’s drop. So right now, the sizing is superb on nearly all items we’ve tracked down. One of the big ticket items that got refreshed with some new colors and sizes in the Web Specials section is the Nano Puff Jacket. Our pick for the best puffer jacket, it’s an ultra-lightweight jacket that punches well above its weight in warmth thanks to 60g of PrimaLoft Gold Eco fill insulation. If that wasn’t enough, the exterior is made from 100% recycled polyester ripstop and sports a DWR finish—in our testing it holds up fairly well in anything except true downpours.
