People Are Furious After DIY Network Host Makes Anti-Semitic Remark on "Texas Flip N Move"
The DIY Network is apologizing after an anti-semitic remark was made on last week's episode of Texas Flip N Move.
The episode featured a musician who bought a bus for $300, then turned it over to sisters and hosts Toni and Donna Snow to fix it up. The pair spent close to $27,000 on the renovation and at the end of the episode, the musician bought the bus back for the full asking price of $36,000.
"You're not even gonna bicker a little bit ... Jew us down?" Toni said in response. Donna added: "You're not even gonna blink an eye?"

In a statement to People, the DIY Network apologized for the remark:
"On a recent episode of Texas Flip N Move, an inappropriate comment, unfortunately, made it past our team. We were made aware of the issue shortly after it aired, and immediately pulled the episode to edit it for future broadcast. We apologize unreservedly for any offense caused."
The online backlash was swift, with people taking to Twitter to voice their outrage.
@DIYNetwork all you’re doing is editing out an anti Semitic comment? Appalling that’s the extent of it. You should remove the episode and this show given the anti Semitic comments. I won’t be watching this network any more given the response. Disgusting. https://t.co/EHB60tHU4M

Notice how Flip n Move apologized but not Toni Snow herself. She’s clearly not even trying to hide her racism.

@DIYNetwork Do the right thing and immediately fire the host of Texas Flip n Move who used the antisemitic slur. Also, find out why the team of directors, sound people, editors and others let it slide.

The show, which is in its seventh season, has been on the air since 2014. Neither Toni nor Donna has responded to the backlash yet.
