People Are Seriously in Love With Victoria Beckham's Target Collection

From Good Housekeeping

If you're living in the 21st century, you know that a lot of people think Target is Heaven. That's a pretty universal truth. And when Target does something big, like collaborate with a high end brand or designer, all hell breaks loose. Shopping hell, that is.

In recent years, Target has put out capsule collections by Lily Pulitzer, Marimekko, 3.1 Philip Lim and Alexander McQueen to staggering degrees of success - it makes sense, considering Target collabs offer designs by out-of-reach brands at budget-friendly prices. So when Victoria Beckham announced her limited edition Target collection - with an ad set to "Spice Up Your Life," no less - women got their wallets ready.

The Victoria Beckham of 2017 is best known for her luxury fashion line (the Victoria Beckham of the '90s was all Spice Girls and David Beckham, which is important to note for obvious reasons), a label that prices individual items starting around $1,000. Yikes. Her Target collection, on the other hand, was priced at around $40 per piece. And included kids clothes and plus size options.

You can see why people are acting as if Target brought Christmas early.

Since the collection launched on Sunday, April 9, the clothes have been selling like the Spice album in 1996 - seriously, items are flying off the racks, both in store and on Target's website. Everything's happening so fast, that pieces have already been relisted on eBay (that's how you know it's good). It's not too late to add Victoria Beckham x Target to your cart, but unfortunately, a lot of the pieces are sold out online.

Beckham's personal website, advertising the collection, claims that all the pieces are sold out. We're not exactly sure what that means, considering several pieces on the website (like this dress, this shirt and this sweet girls' gingham jacket) are still available. NBC News reported on Sunday to watch out for returns both online and in stores, so that could explain the recent online availability. That won't last long, though - the collections going bye-bye on April 30.

There's no saying what items are left in stores, so if you're scrambling for a cute, coordinated family Easter wardrobe, it might be worth a visit (like you weren't going, anyway). Come on, when a bunny-collared blush pink dress exists for both you and your daughter, it's time to dig through those racks like your lives depend on it.
