Pia Wurtzbach's stepmother calls her a liar?
6 Jun - A woman named Robie Asingua has recently accused former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach of making up stories about her father Uwe Wurtzbach in the recent episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya".
As reported on PEP, the June 3rd episode of the show starring Liza Soberano as a young Pia Wurtzbach, revolves around the beauty queen's life as a child from a broken family.
The drama featured Lee O'Brien as Uwe Wurtzbach, who supposedly left the family for another woman and later called the young Wurtzbach after she won first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2013.
It was also revealed that her father's new wife had also contacted her for help when her father was ill, but Wurtzbach declined due to past resentment.
Following the broadcast of the said episode, Asingua, said to be the wife of the beauty queen's late father, expressed her anger at how Uwe was portrayed and claimed that Wurtzbach had made everything up.
"What [profanity] are you doing Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, making a false story[?] Oh yeah, you are a big liar. Your papa never ask money from you, shame [on you]," she wrote.
Asingua also accused Wurtzbach's mother of having had an affair with a neighbour and said that it was the reason why her father left the family.
Meanwhile, her half-brother Alexander Wurtzbach also expressed similar resentment towards the recent episode, saying that Wurtzbach has slandered her own father. He also demanded that she stopped using the family name.
The former Miss Universe has yet to respond to the latest allegations, while Asingua could not be contacted for explanation.
