Pizza Hut Is Bringing Back a Cheesy Fan Favorite, This Time With a Ranch-Fueled Twist
The fan-favorite pull-apart pizza returns just in time for March Madness.

Pizza Hut has never been shy about crust experiments. From cheese-stuffed to hot dog-filled to pies featuring literal holes for dipping, the Texas-based chain has long leaned into what some might deem “unnecessary but delightful” carb creativity.
Its latest offering? The return of the Cheesy Bites Pizza and the debut of a Ranch Lover’s Flight — just in time for March Madness snacking.
The Cheesy Bites Pizza, which was first released in 2006, is something fans have been craving since its last appearance six years ago. Instead of a standard crust, the pizza features a border of 28 mozzarella-stuffed dough nuggets that can be pulled apart, shared, or — let’s be honest — hoarded. It’s the type of pizza engineered more for snacking than slicing, providing the perfect excuse to go heavy on the sauce.

This brings us to Pizza Hut’s all-new Ranch Lover’s Flight, a trio of limited-time dipping sauces crafted for the Cheesy Bites that are... well, all ranch, just with slightly different personalities. There’s:
Ultimate Ranch: The creamy, classic base model.
Chipotle Ranch: The ranch we all know and love, but with a touch of smoky heat.
Pepperoni Ranch: This one doesn’t contain any actual pepperoni, but it’s flavored with the same herbs and spices.
While none of these reinvents the ranch wheel, they’re still fun — and together, they feel like a choose-your-own-dipping adventure. For ranch enthusiasts (you know who you are), it’s a complete experience.

The returning Cheesy Bites Pizza now comes with three new ranch dips for next-level snacking.“As we bring back Cheesy Bites Pizza, we wanted to take the dipping experience even further,” said Rachel Antalek, head of food innovation at Pizza Hut, in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “The Ranch Lover’s Flight gives customers three unique ways to enjoy their pizza, making this the ultimate dip-and-dunk experience just in time for March Madness.”
Whether these ranch riffs become permanent fixtures remains to be seen, but they’re clearly intended for the Cheesy Bites format. Or really, anything you want to dip in a pool of ranch — no judgment.
The full combo — one-topping Cheesy Bites Pizza plus the Ranch Lover’s Flight — will be on menus nationwide from March 26 through May 25 and is available for carryout, delivery, or dine-in at participating Pizza Hut locations. It’s a limited-time offer, conveniently timed with NCAA tournament season, aka peak snack consumption.
To promote the launch, Pizza Hut is also introducing a new brand campaign featuring Peter Zahut, a fictional delivery guy who’s part pizza courier and part human party favor. He’s set to make his debut during the NCAA Sweet 16, bringing good vibes and presumably lots of napkins.
