Even reasonably priced brands like Skechers offer their similarly stretchy slip-on walking shoes for upwards of $50 or more. Comparatively, as little as $28 for a pair of Yhoons is a stellar bargain, especially for shoes sure to carry you comfortably through the summer and beyond.

These sock-like sneaks are made of lightweight woven fabric and are stretchy enough to be slipped on and off without having to fiddle around with laces, garnering thousands of positive reviews from shoppers who walk a lot.

Doctors love the Yhoon walking shoes, too. Board-certified podiatrist Dr. Polina Zaydenberg says the sole offers excellent shock absorption. "The platform is great for heel pain and metatarsalgia [pain in the ball of the foot]," she tells Yahoo. I bought these because it said they were super-cushioned and make your feet feel supported, and they definitely do just that. Best purchase I have made for nursing school."

"I've purchased multiple pairs of these and wear them until they're worn out! I'm a nurse and am on my feet all day. These have great support and are very comfortable," wrote another devotee.

"I work for a hotel, so there is a lot of back and forth going on. No longer do I come home in pain. My feet and back don’t hurt anymore," wrote a third five-star reviewer.

Cons 👎

Some wearers wish the shoes had even more cushioning inside for additional comfort: "Just needs a little more padding inside, but other than that, I like them," said one. Another reviewer agreed, adding, "Could have better padding — the insole can be removed for more space."

Others noted that these shoes aren't totally hands-free when it comes to putting them on. "I thought they'd be easy to slide my feet into since there are no laces to tie, but the material is soft, so I can't just slip them on without using my hands," observed an Amazon customer. "And the rubber sole is a much harder plastic than most tennis shoes I've had in the past. But [the sneakers] are relatively comfortable."
