Pop-Tarts’ Highly Requested Flavor Is Finally Making a Comeback After 2 Agonizing Years
It’s a big year for this beloved Pop-Tarts flavor.
When Pop-Tarts announced it would resurrect a fan-favorite flavor for the Pop-Tarts Bowl—a college football bowl game in Orlando on Dec. 28—we thought we’d have to wait until game day to find out which one it was. But Pop-Tarts has given us an early holiday treat and revealed which toaster pastry is making a comeback.
Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts Are Back
The mystery flavor has officially been revealed: Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts. The last time fans saw this flavor in full-size form was back in 2022. Earlier this year, it made a mini-sized return as Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts Bites, but now the full-size pastries are hitting store shelves nationwide over the next few weeks.
This means 2024 is shaping up to be the year of Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts. Fans can enjoy them in mini form, full-size form, and even as a giant mascot at the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
A Sweet Tradition at the Pop-Tarts Bowl
Last year’s Pop-Tarts Bowl featured a Frosted Strawberry Edible Mascot, which kept fans entertained—and the winning team well-fed—when it was devoured after the game.
This year, three mascots will take the field: Frosted Wild Berry, Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae, and Frosted Cinnamon Roll. While the Cinnamon Roll mascot may not be thrilled about its likely fate—being eaten by the game’s winners—it’s all part of life as a Pop-Tart.
So, whether you’re watching the Pop-Tarts Bowl or just craving a nostalgic treat, keep an eye out for Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts. They're rolling back into stores soon!
