Popeyes Is Giving Away Free Boneless Wings To Convert The Haters

If you don't think that boneless wings are truly part of the chicken wings fam, Popeyes is here to make you a believer. To help convert skeptics into boneless wing lovers, the restaurant is giving away free boneless wings for a limited time.

To score your free 6-piece order of boneless wings, all you have to do is make a $10 purchase through the Popeyes app or website. The offer is available from now through July 14th.

Popeyes even teamed up with actor Jimmy O. Yang for the peculiar crusade, which came about following discourse on social media over whether or not boneless wings belong in the wing family. Yang, who once declared that "boneless wings are a lie," is now a dedicated member of Team Boneless Wing.

"Okay, you got me. I wasn't acting at all. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm officially a boneless believer," said Yang in a statement. "Popeyes has made a boneless wing so good that I'm eating my words. I used to be a hater—honestly, I've always been a hater—but after trying these, holy #$!@, they're incredible. If these wings can convert me, they can convert anyone."

In addition to the boneless wings being free this month and next, they're also now a part of Popeyes' permanent menu. The wings will be available in six flavors: Classic, Honey Lemon Pepper, Signature Hot, Honey BBQ, Sweet 'N Spicy, and Roasted Garlic Parmesan.
