This popular chain has one restaurant in Boise, Nampa. Meridian soon will have two

There’s no need for Noodles & Company to throw its concept at the wall in Idaho.

Because, at this point, the answer is clear: It sticks.

After debuting at The Village at Meridian in 2012, the popular chain is doubling down a decade-plus later. A second Meridian store will open on Wednesday, June 26, at 3103 W. Milano Drive. That’s off North Ten Mile Road near West McMillan Road.

It will be the fourth Noodles & Company location in the Treasure Valley. There’s also one in the City of Trees at 535 N. Milwaukee St. (near Boise Towne Square) and in Nampa at 275 N. Happy Valley Road.

At Noodles & Company, customers order globally inspired noodle dishes at the counter and wait for them to be delivered to tables. The menu includes “the fast-casual industry’s first tortelloni and new chef-curated salads,” according to a publicist. There’s also “a generous rewards program for guests along with convenient curbside pickup, delivery and dine-in at the restaurant.”

Founded in 1995 in Colorado, Noodles & Company has grown to hundreds of locations by celebrating noodles and selection. Rather than specializing only in, say, Asian noodle dishes, its menu offers worldwide variety.

“From Penne Rosa to Japanese Pan Noodles, our Med Salad to our world-famous Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, our menu is full of made-to-order, globally inspired noodle bowls and dishes,” Noodles & Company brags on its website.

As the price of dining out increases, Noodles & Company also remains cost-conscious, if not always health-conscious. Check out the $10 Mac & Cheese Meal Deal: a regular bowl of Wisconsin Mac & Cheese — “Now 50% cheesier” — a Coca-Cola Freestyle drink and a Rice Crispy Treat.

Yum. For that price, we’ll count the Rice Krispies as a vegetable, Mom.
