Pregnant Hilary Duff Reveals She Has Covid Days After Baby Announcement:'Now We Wear Masks Again'

The expectant actress is mom to daughters Banks and Mae, as well as son Luca

Hilary Duff and her husband are going through a tricky situation.

The pregnant actress, 36, revealed on Instagram on Thursday that she and her husband Matthew Koma, 36, both have Covid again. She also noted that her three kids — daughters Banks Violet, 5, and Mae James, 2, whom she shares with Koma, and son Luca, 11, from a previous relationship — do not have the illness, causing the couple to mask up again.

Posting a video to her Instagram Story, Duff pans to show Koma in bed playing music, a box of tissues nestled in between them. "Someone's going to be a DJ again!" the How I Met Your Father actress joked.

"We have Covid and our kids don't so now we wear masks again 🙄," Duff wrote across the video.

Earlier this month, the star revealed that she is expecting her fourth baby, sharing the exciting news on Instagram.

The Lizzie McGuire alum shared a snap of her family's holiday card, which featured a photo of her three kids and Koma as they posed in a bedroom. Duff placed her hand on her baby bump, looking shocked while Banks hung from the bed's rafters and Mae sat on the ground with a guitar.

"So much for silent nights," the card read. "Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew."

Duff also shared the back of her holiday card, which included solo shots of all three of her kids. "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!" the other side said.

The Younger actress previously spoke to PEOPLE about her life as a mom of three, sharing that she "loves this mayhem."

"I'm so in love with all my kids," said Duff.

"It's a learning curve to throw a newborn into the mix," she said after welcoming daughter Mae. "A lot of people have been like, 'That third kid really gets you.' And they're right!"
