Kate Middleton and Prince William released three adorable photos of Prince Louis to mark his first birthday – and royal fans can’t get over how much the tiny prince looks like his older siblings in the snaps.
The photos were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at the family’s Norfolk home Anmer Hall earlier this month, and show Prince Louis beaming as he plays outside in the garden.
Little Louis even looks to be wearing one of his big brother, Prince George’s, hand-me-downs – a Rachel Riley Peter Pan collared bodysuit – under a burgundy marl knitted jumper with three-button shoulder detailing.
Prince George famously wore the bodysuit when he visited New Zealand with his parents in April 2014, four years before his baby brother was born.
The little prince also bears a striking resemblance to his three-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte, who was also snapped by Kate Middleton at their Anmer Hall home in 2016 for her first birthday.
“Louis is looking so much like his big brother, Prince George – and it’s lovely to see that he has been having so much fun mucking around in the garden (if the moss on his jumper is anything to go by!),” one fan said online.
“Happy Birthday Prince Louis. You are such a handsome little prince! I see both Prince George and Princess Charlotte in you!” another royal fan said.
“He is the PERFECT combo of George and Charlotte. What a cutie,” another person said.
The Cambridges released the photos on their Twitter account at 10:30pm on Monday night.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow,” they wrote on Twitter.
“The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”
