Fashion aside, to successfully work a red carpet you have to pull out all the strings for beauty. Proving this is Best Actress in a Television Series nominee Rachel Brosnahan who glistened on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a beautiful aubergine sequined gown, a plum-hued lip to match and beautifully textured waves.

But before arriving, the 29-year-old made a stopover at Joanna Vargas Los Angeles Spa for an Oxygen Purifying Facial, before meeting with celebrity makeup artist Lisa Aharon and the rest of her glam squad.

Arriving late to her official Globes beauty appointments, the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star jokingly updated fans by sharing a picture of herself holding tea-bags to her eyes. “All glamour. All the time.” she captioned the photo.

Best known for its super lightweight, oil-free moisturizer formula, the Daily Hydrating Lotion provides instant hydration to skin and locks in moisture to protect skin from dryness. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, a powerful moisturizing agent and an essential component of skin, it retains up to 1000 times its weight in water — ideal for dehydrated skin. While the Eye Gel-Cream instantly locks in moisture, leaving the delicate eye area feeling soft, soothed, and refreshed.

While a drugstore brand may be a shocking choice for red carpet prep, if you’ve been following Brosnahan for as long as we have, you know she’s a huge fan and the first official celebrity face of Cetaphil.

Aharon then completed the look with a full face of Shiseido makeup.

As for hair, celebrity hairstylist Ashley Streicher used Goldwell Curly Twist Primer ($20) to master her Hollywood waves.
