Travis Scott is embracing Giving Season.
Not one but two trainers from his ultra-in-demand collaboration with Jordan Brand is set to drop before the end of the year.
His theme for the 2024 holiday period? Brown.
Or, to make it a little more festive: hot chocolate.
In December, a creamy “velvet brown” iteration of the rapper's popular riff on the Air Jordan 1 Low.
Before that, a full-flavoured “dark mocha” iteration of his first original Jordan model that debuted this year – the Jumpman Jack.
Before that... when, exactly? Good question. According to a now-deleted Instagram post made by sneaker retailer Offspring over the weekend just gone, it could be arriving as early as this coming weekend.
The release marks the third Jumpman Jack drop – the first being the OG “sail” launch; the second being the “university red” colourway that exclusively dropped in the US on the musician's eponymous webstore.
From afar it look like business as usual but the “dark mocha” differs from its predecessors in its uppermost material.
The off-white tumbled leather is replaced by brown nubuck which marries well with the upper's canvas foundation and affords the shoe a buttery exterior.
Other than this layer and the white “Jack” wordmark on the sole, the shoe is completely black. Which means... easy to style!
We plan on incorporating ours into a workwear-inspired 'fit in the lead-up to the EOY winter break (if they do release before then). Say, a barn jacket, some carpenter jeans and a Stanley cup filled to the brim with Options drinking chocolate.
That's if we don't gift them to a loved one this Christmas...
Such a hot commodity could earn us some major brownie points.
